fractals with particles

simple particle simulation with polar projection node written in Vex / openCL,it runs at 10fps on my MacBook. feeding multiple particles stream’s.

Working on system in Houdinifor handling large datasets. Simple and easy. Almost realtime feedback and efficient rendering.

Houdini NPR rendering

I am starting to experiment some Non Photorealistic Rendering. First I am starting off with non animation Versions.

simple point replicate rendered disc’s:

Working out some edge strokes and rendered with toon shader:

this time i trying to create fake occlusion with point clouds to create same NPR

I’ ve added some displacement to simulate brush strokes:

I am trying to get some pencil lines into the rendering. First tests, I am using instanced polygon lines.

I use some method like in this digraph paper to create a saintly look.

The rendering is slow and its hard to a get good reading on detailed Models. But it works much better for low poly models.
