here are all fractals which i’ve created 2016. its huge jumps from last year spline fractals marathon. this year i used mostly physical Rendering. ( Mantra or Thea Render). i’ve converted most of the fractals into Polygon with help Tube primitive or VDB volumes. Some fractals i’ve rendered splines directly in mantra with extra converting into polygons meshes.
a little reel for spline fractals. originals rendered in 4k and full dome (4096×4096) format. all fractals are forced to move on a flat grid, this keeps the data manageable.
(sadly, the video compression eats away a lot of details in low color space.)
